And although the temperature outside this past winter may have triggered my thoughts, it was what I’ve seen inside the HIM departments that use document imaging that prompted this article. Hospitals that have effectively implemented COLD as part of their document management strategy are experiencing much better return on investment than those that put the process on the back burner.
