IM.01.01.03—Continuity of information processes
Continuity of information management processes is an important part of information management planning. The organization must be prepared for business interruptions regardless of whether they are scheduled downtimes or full-fledged disasters. Sound business recovery planning for continuity of care and services will minimize the effects of interruptions on operational processes. Continuity of information processes must address paper-based and electronic systems.
