On December 16, 2008, the AMA updated its list of errata to the 2009 CPT Manual.
Errata include the following:
- The description of modifier -22 inside the front cover changed from unusual to increased procedural services to make it consistent with the Appendix A listing
- Under code 89335 (Cryopreservation, reproductive tissue, testicular), the errata list deletes two parenthetical notes referring to deleted Category III codes 0058T (cryopreservation, ovarian reproductive tissue) and 0059T (cryopreservation, oocytes). It substitutes one parenthical (For cryopreservation, ovarian reproductive tissue, oocytes, use 89240).
