In the September Briefings on APCs, an HCPro publication, Jugna Shah, MPH, president of Nimitt Consulting in Washington, DC, summarized the OPPS proposed rule in her “OPPS advisor” column. She said an important change proposed for 2009 is an expansion of composite packaging to encompass multiple imaging services.
