It’s a task that’s easier said than done. And it’s costly for a healthcare entity to develop and maintain a security solution that’s safe and simple to use in an environment that’s full of potential privacy holes.
Euclid learned this the hard way after making a large initial investment in a company-run security system with encrypted data and code keys for Internet transmission—one that clients found too difficult to understand and use.
