WEDI publishes report on NPPES dissemination

On December 11, the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) released a paper on the healthcare industry's initial experiences, comments, reactions, and recommendations on the two NPPES dissemination methods. The report, "NPPES Dissemination: The NPI Registry and the NPPES Downloadable File-Initial Industry Experiences and Recommendations," contains WEDI's recommendations for ways CMS can improve its NPI downloadable file and query-based NPI registry.
