Do you need to review coding guidelines and participate in coding training on a regular basis? With so many choices, finding the best training method can seem overwhelming. In order to make the right decision and take full advantage of a learning experience, it's important to consider personal factors, such as:
- Prior coding experience (or lack thereof)
- Learning ability
- Learning preferences
- Financial limitations
To accommodate students from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, schools and other educational providers offer the following traditional and nontraditional training methods:
- Live on-site coding classes
- Online coding classes, including degree and certificate programs
- Audioconferences
- Rigorous, one-week courses
- Electronic learning (e-learning) courses offered online for which you can obtain continuing education (CE) credits
Which method works best for you? Take a closer look at the different types of training options and decide for yourself.
