On June 3, the Senate Finance Committee advanced legislation that centers on improving how improper Medicare payments are assessed by recovery auditors (known as RACs or RAs) and unclogging the staggering backlog of claim appeals fielded by the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA).
