Each year, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics declare the month of March National Nutrition Month. As healthcare providers know, a patient’s diet is key to becoming healthy and/or maintaining their health. Keeping patients healthy, especially in homecare when the patient is often by themselves in their home and does not have constant supervision, needs to be a priority for clinicians.
