An Oklahoma woman worked as a nurse for several days before hospital officials realized that she lied on her application. Once the woman admitted to police that she had found the nursing license number of a woman with the same name on the Internet, the hospital fired her, according to an August 15 report by Oklahoma City television station KOCO.
Parkview Hospital hired Jennifer Drobil and allowed her to care for patients, including babies, for several days after only partially completing her background check. The hospital became suspicious after it discovered that her nursing license belonged to another woman, and that Drobil had given the hospital multiple Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
