A Massachusetts agency has posted a public report on its Web site detailing the clinical quality measurements of more than 5,000 physicians. Massachusetts Health Quality Partners' (MHQP) 2007 "Quality Insights: Clinical Quality in Primary Care" allows consumers to search for results by zip code, a physician's name, or medical group's name. Physicians are evaluated by 17 of the quality measures developed by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

MHQP's report was first made public in 2005. This year's results showed that Massachusetts physicians scored above the national average.
