Physician allegedly forged credentials

A grand jury in Pennsylvania has charged a suburban Philadelphia physician with more than 800 controlled drug counts, forgery, records tampering, and evasion. In addition, a search of the physician's background reveals that he was termed "dangerously incompetent" and dismissed by a hospital residency program in 1991, though he allegedly continued to include the residency on his resume, reports the Associated Press.

 

The grand jury report also touched on the physician's education and professional history, in which he allegedly failed courses he claimed credit for, and falsified training records, according to the Associated Press.
