Tip of the Week: Demand specificity from external peer reviewer

Often, external peer reviewers are concerned that they might be targets of a lawsuit if they are very specific about their assessment in their final report. However, ambiguous reports raise more questions than they answer and are therefore unproductive. Therefore, stress to the external peer review that the report should be as specific as possible.
