In the article “Get Your Reappointments on the Right Cycle,” in the July issue of Credentialing Resource Center Journal, it incorrectly stated that an MSP is required to get an updated claims history verification from a practitioner’s insurance carrier as part of the reappointment process. This is not a requirement of accrediting agencies, but rather a best practice suggested by Ann Klinger, CPCS, medical staff coordinator at Tuality Community Hospital.
