Tip of the week: Best sources for verifying nursing home affiliations

Many practitioners have longstanding affiliations with nursing homes, but nursing homes rarely have medical staff offices. The nursing home administrator, nursing director, or medical director is usually the best source to verify a practitioner’s affiliation, dates of service, and, most importantly, competence.
