New certification board formed for hospital medicine

There's a new specialty board in town: The American Board of Hospital Medicine (ABHM). Founded this month, the ABHM a member board of the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS) and is the nation’s first certification board exclusively dedicated to hospital medicine.
Physician leaders responsible for founding the ABHM include Diplomates from the ABPS, the American Board of Medical Specialties, and the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
