Yes. In fact, the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) recently released a revised Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals. It will go into effect on July 1. The new restrictions eliminate gifts to healthcare professionals, prohibit entertainment and recreation, and provide more guidance on proper consulting and royalty arrangements, among other updates.
