Tip of the week: Consistently enforce requirements during reappointment

An important element of building credibility is to consistently enforce requirements. You must have clear policies and procedures and a supportive medical staff to be successful. Although your organization should discourage waiving the rules for anyone, there can be some room for exceptions as long as they are strictly reviewed by the medical staff leadership.
