Medicine is evolving rapidly, and facilities must be able to offer new and better technology to their patients to remain competitive and provide superior care. But introducing new technology carries risks: Will the new technology require changes to the facility’s processes? Will buying this new technology be cost-effective? And, most importantly, will the new technology’s benefit to patients outweigh potential risks?
