Credentialing & Verification Update, November 4, 2008
As you may already know, this week, November 2-8, is National Medical Staff Services Awareness Week. In 1992, President George H.W. Bush established this annual tradition in observance of "The professionals who direct or manage medical staff services, from hospital communications to the accreditation of physicians and nurses, play an important role in our Nation's health care system."
