Whether your organization was effected by the recent hurricanes or your medical staff is planning on revising its disaster privileges, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Web site has helpful information. Included in the disasters section of the Web site are contact information for volunteer groups such as the American Red Cross and a section for practitioners, clinicians and responders.
Visit the Web site at www.dhhs.gov/disasters/index.html.
