The Credentialing Resource Center (CRC) spotlight is a new series of articles that will show you how to get the most out of you online resource center. Did you know you can log onto www.online-crc.com to access the Clinical Privileging White Papers, the CRC Blog, and more? This week we take an insider’s look at the policy and procedures library.

A CRC subscription at the Platinum level includes many benefits in addition to the monthly news resource Briefings on Credentialing, including access to benchmarking reports, a subscription to Clinical Privilege Update, a weekly ezine focused on new technology, and use of the policy and procedures library. If you’re not familiar with this last feature, it’s an online resource featuring policies, procedures, letters, and other forms submitted by CRC subscribers and other sources. All are searchable, downloadable, and adaptable.

Platinum members can access the policy and procedures library by logging on to www.online-crc.com. On the left-hand side of the home page you will see a section that outlines the Platinum resources. Click on “Policies and Procedures,” and you will be directed to the library. There you will find documents such as:

  • Medical staff coordinator job description
  • Reapplication after administrative revocation policy
  • Credentials committee composition and meetings policy
  • Fast-track credentialing policy
  • And many more

We hope our Platinum members visit the policy and procedure library today and contribute their own best forms to share with peers! If you have any questions about this CRC Platinum feature, e-mail Associate Editor Emily Berry at eberry@hcpro.com.
