The Credentialing Resource Center (CRC) spotlight is a new series of articles that will show you how to get the most out of our online resource center. Did you know you can log onto www.online-crc.com to access our Clinical Privileging White Papers, the CRC Blog, and more? This week we take an insider’s look at the Medical Staff Talk archives.
A CRC subscription includes many benefits in addition to the monthly newsletter, including Clinical Privileging White Papers, access to special reports, and use of the Medical Staff Talk chat group. If you’re not familiar with this last feature, it’s an online email discussion group for MSPs to exchange questions and answers and helpful documents with their peers.
Additionally, CRC basic and platinum subscribers have access to the Medical Staff Talk archives. To access them, simply use your password to log into CRC Online and click on the link on the bottom of the home page. This will take you to the main Medical Staff Talk information page where you will see a link to the Medical Staff Talk archive. Once you click on that link, you’ll see a screen with a blue background that houses the archive.
When you first log in the archive will be organized by the date of each post. However, you can organize the archive by subject or author by clicking on those words at the top of the screen. You can also search for a specific post by clicking on the search button on the left side of the screen. As soon as a message is e-mailed to the Medical Staff Talk group, it appears on the archive, making the online resource just as timely as the e-mail group.
We hope you visit the Medical Staff Talk archives today! If you have any questions about this CRC feature, e-mail Associate Editor Emily Berry at eberry@hcpro.com.
