MSPs are commonly asked to attend or take notes in medical staff meetings. If you are asked to help organize such a meeting, it is important to include those who cannot attend the meeting due to scheduling conflicts.
When certain items require review, recommendation, or approval, be sure to provide them to attendees ahead of time. Use a meeting notice that includes an RSVP and gives the member a chance to vote or provide input even if not able to attend the meeting. This will help in cases where there is no quorum.
