Tip of the week: Temporary privileges correction

Last week’s tip stated that Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) standard HR 2.01.5 addresses the topic of temporary privileges.
It should have stated that standard HR.4.30 currently addresses the topic of temporary privileges. The Joint Commission is revising the numbers of their HR standards, but hasn’t yet set a date for implementing the new numbers.
