Although The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) does not use the term "work history," it does require evidence of current competence and expects organizations to obtain information regarding licensure (or registration), education, training, experience, and competence.

It is best practice for MSPs to ensure that the first step in the process is to require each applicant to provide, via the application, a complete chronological history of his or her education, training, and experience.
