Wisconsin company selected as latest Medicare Administrative Contractor
On September 7, CMS issued a press release announcing that it has selected Wisconsin Physicians Service Health Insurance Corp. as the Medicare Administrative Contractor for Medicare Part A and Part B in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

Office of Inspector General audits fiscal intermediary for excessive outpatient payment
On September 5, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) conducted an audit of Chisholm Administrative Services, the Medicare intermediary for Oklahoma. The audit related to billing and payment for HCPCS code C9205 (Injection, Oxaliplatin, per 5 mg.).
