Apparently, a lot of people in Baltimore were on vacation last week. Much to my surprise, CMS did not issue a single regulation or transmittal last week relating to coverage, billing or payment for hospital services. CMS did issue several new or updated FAQs, as listed below. Most the new/updated FAQs relate to Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities or presbyopia-correcting IOLs.
I hope everyone is enjoying the lazy days of August.
