CMS posts display copy of hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System final rule
On August 1, CMS posted the display copy of the 2008 Inpatient Prospective Payment System final rule on its Web site.

CMS publishes Federal Register copy of Outpatient Prospective Payment System proposed rule
On August 2, CMS published in the Federal Register its Outpatient Prospective Payment System proposed rule. As reported in a previous issue of the Medicare Weekly Update,the display copy had been previously posted on the CMS Web site. CMS is accepting comments on the proposed rule through September 14.
