CMS issues 2008 hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System proposed rule
On July 16, CMS posted a display copy of the 2008 hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) proposed rule. In addition to a number of significant OPPS changes, the proposed rule also includes proposed changes to the hospital Conditions of Participation and the regulations governing the critical access hospital qualification requirements.
