CMS proposes Inpatient Prospective Payment System changes for 2008
On April 13, CMS issued proposed rule CMS-1533-P, Medicare Program: Proposed Changes to the Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems (IPPS) and Fiscal Year 2008 rates.
The proposed rule will be published in the May 3, 2007 Federal Register. Comments will be accepted until June 12, 2007, and a final rule will be published late in the summer.
