CMS issued a letter to state Medicaid directors Thursday that includes additional guidance on employee education about False Claims recovery.
The letter includes a frequently asked questions section that supplements the guidance released by CMS on December 13, 2006.
Many states also requested an official description of the federal False Claims Act for purposes of uniformity. That description is also enclosed in the guidance.
Visit CMS' Web site to read the letter and supplemental material.
