OIG posts new corporate integrity agreements

The OIG released its updated list corporate integrity agreements to its Web site.

New healthcare entities who have entered into a CIA with the OIG include:

  • Mississippi Baptist Health Systems, Inc., Jackson, MS
  • Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL
  • Arizona Heart Institute, Phoenix, AZ
  • Healthcare entities whose CIAs have expired include:

  • Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY
  • Tenet Healthcare Corporation, Santa Barbara, CA
  • Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Inc., Leesburg, FL
  • To form a CIA, the OIG negotiates compliance obligations with healthcare providers and other entities as part of the federal investigation settlements that stemmed from false claim charges.
