Tenet Healthcare named Audrey T. Andrews as its new chief compliance officer effective November 15.
Andrews, 39, succeeds Steven W. Ortquist, who will leave the company later this year.
Tenet said Andrews worked closely with Ortquist and others to negotiate the five-year corporate integrity agreement the company signed last month with the OIG and HHS. Andrews will supervise the company's ethics program and will report directly to the board's quality, compliance and ethics committee.
