OIG: Mutual of Omaha should recoup $2.8 million

Mutual of Omaha is requesting that providers refund $2.8 million in overpayments for high-dollar Medicare outpatient payments.

The request comes as the result of an OIG audit that concluded the insurance provider made 28 incorrect, high-dollar Medicare payments.

In other news, the OIG also found that the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development did not appropriately report $162,701 in program income for child support collections and related interest. This amount included a federal share of $107,383.
