The OIG has posted its corporate integrity agreement (CIA) with Lincare Holdings -- the supply company with which it recently reached at $10 million settlement.

Lincare Inc, a home oxygen supply company based in Florida, has settled four federal inquires for $12 million. This includes the $10 million settlement of an OIG investigation alleging that Lincare paid illegal kickbacks and violated the Stark Law. The $10 million settlement is the largest civil monetary case that the OIG has ever settled. Lincare admitted no wrongdoing as part of the settlement, but has agreed to enter a five-year corporate integrity agreement.
