Connecticut man pleads guilty to healthcare fraud

A Westport, CT man pleaded guilty last week to one count of healthcare fraud for allegedly creating false medical records for patients involved in personal injury claims, lawsuits, and settlements, according to the Westport News.
Richard Fogel, 51, operated the Chiropractic Center in Norwalk, CT at the time. Fogel faces a maximum prison term of 10 years and a fine up to $250,000. He will be sentenced on September 18.
