OIG investigators plan to focus on Medicare Part D, according to the 2006 Work Plan , released November 16, 2005. The Work Plan now features a section devoted exclusively to the new prescription drug benefit.
The Work Plan spells out that, to monitor Part D, the OIG will assess
The massive new drug benefit program will clearly be a concern for drug companies, long-term care providers, and nursing homes, but what about hospitals and physician practices?
