Q: If a patient had an initial diagnosis of unstable angina before stent placement, will the patient be eligible for cardiac rehabilitation after the procedure?
A:Unstable angina is not a covered diagnosis for cardiac rehabilitation services. The patient's diagnosis before the stent placement should meet coverage criteria.
