Assess your audit program using new compliance guidelines

Make sure your organization's compliance program is up to date as part of your ongoing assessment of compliance effectiveness. To help with this task, the OIG on June 8 issued draft supplemental compliance guidance for hospitals. This draft expands on the OIG's 1998 guidance, includes compliance recommendations, and identifies risk areas. It became final July 23.
