Evaluate your organization's compliance culture

How entrenched is your compliance program within the organization? Sample the compliance culture to find out. Use these guidelines for your next compliance program evaluation:

Compliance culture

·  Do employees know who the compliance officer is and how to contact him or her?

Code of conduct and policies and procedures

·  Do employees know about the code of conduct?

·  Do employees know where they can find policies and procedures

·  Do employees know they may use the policies and procedures for guidance?

Training programs

·  Are problems you addressed in training still occurring repeatedly?

·  Has post-testing indicated that your employees understand compliance?
