CMS has posted its regular update transmittal for HCPCS Level II codes.
Effective date: January 1, 2012
Implementation date: January 3, 2012
CMS implements I/OCE update
On August 19, CMS issued a transmittal to implement updates to the integrated outpatient code editor (I/OCE).
Effective date: October 1, 2011

CMS posts clotting factor update
On August 19, CMS issued a transmittal to make its annual update to the clotting factor furnishing fee. For dates of service January 1, 2012, through December 31, 2012, the clotting factor furnishing fee of $0.181 per unit is added to the payment limit for the clotting factor.
Effective date: January 1, 2012
Implementation date: January 3, 2012
