This week was a light week so I thought I would write about a trend I’ve come across related to Medicare’s hospital-acquired conditions (HAC) and never events. I’ve had a couple emails from students and reviewed a payer policy for one of our clients and there appears to be confusion among some of the Medicare Advantage plans and other insurers about these conditions and their coverage.
