Weigh in on a recent MedicareFind Forum post:
High dose brachytherapy is not listed as an inpatient procedure but requires a patient to remain in bed overnight with tubes in place in the prostate for a radiation treatment the second day. It is listed as a "U" procedure in Addendum B. Does CMS expect this procedure to be done as an outpatient or is there any guidance on admission?
