CMS updates lab fee schedule
On November 24, CMS issued a transmittal to provide instructions for the CY 2011 clinical laboratory fee schedule, mapping for new codes for clinical laboratory tests, and updates for laboratory costs subject to the reasonable charge payment.

CMS posts reasonable charge update
On November 19, CMS issued a recurring update notification to provide instructions regarding the calculation of reasonable charges for payment of claims for splints, casts, and intraocular lenses.
