Last week was a fairly quiet week for CMS and no major regulation changes or announcements were made. Since we are coming up on the start of a new federal fiscal year, I wanted to revisit a major change for critical access hospitals (CAHs) that was announced in the IPPS final rule. This is very good news for CAHs that bill under the Optional Method, also called Method II.
