CMS posts Medicaid RAC draft form
On September 10, CMS released a draft information collection form and supporting documents as its first small step toward implementing Medicaid RACs. According to the CMS notice in the Federal Register, the form is intended for the preparation of the RAC expansion into Medicaid, as required by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The draft form, CMS-10343, would be used by state Medicaid plans to attest they’ve contracted with a contingency fee auditor.
