On July 16, CMS issued a transmittal to revise the State Operations Manual, making changes that incorporate rulemaking from the 2010 IPPS.

CMS updates lab NCD edit module
On July 16, CMS issued a transmittal to communicate quarterly updates to the edit module based on NCDs for clinical diagnostic laboratory services. The transmittal business requirements contain code-specific changes to the edit module.

On July 16, CMS issued a transmittal to implement updated claim status codes and claim status category codes.
