CMS publishes CoP proposal
On June 28, CMS published in the Federal Register proposed changes to the conditions of participation (CoP) for hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAH). The proposed rule would require Medicare- and Medicaid-participating hospitals and CAHs to have written policies and procedures regarding the visitation rights of patients.
