CMS instructs on online appeals
On June 11, CMS issued a transmittal to provide contractors with the guidelines for accepting appeal requests via facsimile and/or via a secure Internet portal/application.
Effective date: October 1, 2010
Implementation date: October 1, 2010
CMS publishes CY 2009 inflation factor
CMS has updated the Provider Reimbursement Manual with the calendar year (CY) 2009 inflation factor, used to update previous years’ reasonable compensation ranges.
